Overview
Since 1982, Hammond Farms Landscape Supply has been a cornerstone of Mid-Michigan’s landscaping scene—renowned for their extensive selection of premium materials and their five-location strong presence. As a trusted and recognizable name in the region, their brand carried legacy—but their in-store experience was overdue for a strategic refresh.
Our objective wasn’t reinvention—it was elevation. We honored the equity of their original logo, keeping it intact, while developing a robust suite of new brand elements to modernize and professionalize their identity from the inside out. From cohesive interior signage to refined messaging and branded materials, the goal was to bring consistency, clarity, and confidence to every customer touchpoint. With the interiors now reflecting the quality they’re known for, exterior signage is the next step in this ongoing transformation.
Hammond Farms is also an innovator of new impactful landscaping supplies and specialty products. Their team had the elite recipe for improved soil and compost, but needed names and identities for their custom products. We put our creative heads together and ran through the naming ideation process. Next steps was designing packaging to be consistent with the trusted Hammond Farms brand.
My Green Michigan is a sub-brand of Hammond Farms. They essentially turn food scraps and organic waste into soil. This large-scale organics recycling company needed a professional brand identity to match the rapid growth of their company. So we built one.
